Years of experience, high quality, and respect for the profession
A merge of three companies created the strong foundation of Classic Trim Aircraft Interiors.
With the high desire to continue the journey of professional, high quality and careful aircraft interior, three companies in 2021 collided into one, but the story of CTAI started a long before that.
Around 30 years ago, the foundation of CTAI started, when Ellen Rasmussen and Erik Sørensen, founded the interior company Classic Trim. With lots of courage, time and effort Ellen and Erik created a new area in the aircraft interior market in Denmark, and have been working heard for almost three decades. Through time the two meet both the founder of Scandinavian Avionics, Hardy Truelsen, as well as the founder og Tesberg, and created relations that later became the foundation and establishment of Classic Trim Aircraft Interiors.
Three highly competent companies – becoming one…
Scandinavian Avionics (SA) has more than 45 years of experience in the avionics industry, with a high knowledge and expertise in supporting customers with high level solutions.
Classic Trim has more than 35 years of experience with aircraft Interiors, and has created a strong knowledge, and expertise in the field.
Tesberg operates inside the overall interior industry, such as furniture, cars, ships etc. and now through CTAI expertise in aircraft Interiors.
Long-lasting relationships became the foundation
The story of CTAI started in 2021, but the relation across the companies goes back way longer. The relation between the founders of Classic Trim, Ellen and Erik and the SA founder Hardy Truelsen, goes back around 30 years.
From the aircraft industry the companies have created a long-lasting, supportive, and positive relationship, so when the time came for Ellen and Erik to consider both their own and the company’s future, it became natural to look towards Scandinavian Avionics for a potential merge.
SA has many years of experience inside the aviation industry, with a long list of knowledge points, projects, and connections, but interior was not yet on the list. Here the relation between Classic Trim and Tesberg, became essential. The founder and CEO of Tesberg, Tue Esbjerg, has prior experience from the aviation interior industry, and above it all, been under the wings of Ellen and Erik previously, why the new setup became natural, and possible to continue to cover the high-quality interior work, that CTAT stands for today.
